Scottish Country Dancing for Friendship, Fun and Fitness

Meeting in the Park

More than 20 dancers braved the wet weather to meet in Pittville Park on the 24th May. Luckily, the rain stopped just long enough for us to all catch up face to face. It was good to see so many friends all in one place.

Zoom Class

Our final Zoom Class will take place on the 7th June and our regular dancers will miss the fortnightly screen get together, after over a year of kitchen dances. We are all looking forward to starting the new dancing season with the Open Evening on the 6th September (see below).

Afternoon Social 26th June at the Reddings

We are planning to hold a social event at the Reddings Community Hall on the 26th June. However the details are yet to be finalised. This venue provides the opportunity to hold the event outside (weather permitting).

AGM 28th June by Zoom

Due to the ongoing uncertainty and to allow increased attendance, the committee has made the decision to hold the AGM on the 28th June by Zoom. Members will receive all the necessary papers and the link to the meeting by email.

Open Evening 6th September at St Luke's Church Hall

The new dancing season starts on the 6th September with the Open Evening. We are all looking forward to getting together and easing our way into dancing with a programme of easy dances suitable for all. This is a great opportunity for new members to come and find out what Scottish Country Dancing is all about and meet our teachers.
